About MOTR
If you’re like most guys I know, you consider yourself well traveled.
If I had to guess, however, deep down you want one thing from your travel experiences: more of them.
Have you ever said anything like this?
“Sure I'd like to go but the flights are EXPENSIVE.”
“I don't know I think I get like 2x points on this credit card, I just use it to buy everything."
“Yeah the vacation was pretty good, we went to a few museums and monuments. Everything was so crowded though.“
Well my friend, me too (to all of those things!)
My name is Kevin Chansky a I started Man on the Road in 2014 to share stories from my own travels. I'll do anything for a free trip (including working as a truck driver for a summer...seriously) and am a firm believer that everyone should have an opportunity to explore this crazy world we live in.

Whether your definition of travel is a commute or a transatlantic flight we’re all constantly on the road, and I’m here to make your trips a little more badass.
I believe in 3 key pillars when it comes to hitting the road:
-Travel should be free or as cheap as possible
-When we walk out the door, we should look damn good
-What we read, watch, and listen to along the way should always make us more interesting
Now I cannot emphasize this enough: I’m just a regular guy who likes to travel and who lives on a budget. Everything I write about is something I’ve experienced or used in my own life. If you’ve ever read popular Men’s gear/travel sites, you probably like the content, but also wonder who can afford $10k watches and trips to Dubai. Me too.
I'm not going to be shouting recommendations at you from First Class, I want to take this journey with you in Economy.
If you’re interested, I specialize in topics like affordable gear reviews, credit card tips and tricks, and book recommendations for the modern man.
Before you go I’d love if you signed up for our email newsletter, where you'll join a community of travelers from all walks of life (we call ourselves “Roadies”). When you sign up (it’s free), you’ll get a copy of my e-book 5 Travel Cards You Need TODAY. It’s my blueprint for getting the most free travel without changing a single spending habit!
Thanks for reading, I'm glad you're along for the ride,
Kevin Chansky
